Based in Mumbai, The Crème Company was founded in April 2018 by Chef Minali Zaveri with the sheer need to cover the unseen and pre-existing market gap in pastry in India.
It was established as a central cloud kitchen to restaurants, event companies and every group or individual that believes in desserts, and is ready to explore a whole new world of food. Lovingly known as TCC became an open ground for so many experiments which then lead to “The Healthiest”
The Healthiest is the only brand that curates everything plant based, sugar free, gluten free, rice flour free & soy free. The Healthiest is Chef Minali’s brainchild that replicates her personality and healthy lifestyle, it is the healthiest switch for every bread or snack you’re craving today.
About Our Founders / Chefs
Chef Minali
Chef Minali Zaveri completed her post-graduation in Financial Market in 2014. Shortly after, she worked hands-on in a kitchen only to realize how passionately she felt about food, especially pastry. She completed a certificate course in Pastry Arts at Sophia College, Mumbai, and worked with an NGO for young adults with special needs as a head baker and teacher. She then knew her dreams had the wings she needed to achieve anything she wanted to!
She further pursued a diploma in Pastry Arts from Ferrandi, Paris and worked with several Michelin starred and Japanese-Parisian restaurants in Paris. Minali came back to Mumbai and joined The Table and Magazine Street Kitchen as a Pastry Cook and eventually became their Head Pastry Chef! It was only after a few years that she was motivated to start her own company.
What started as a tiny kitchen in her garage eventually became a phenomenal workspace where she now conducts baking workshops. Today, the Crème Company is located in a much bigger space, supplying desserts to over a dozen fine dining restaurants in Mumbai, B2B distributors/ retailers and extremely well-curated gifting hampers. Minali’s dream still continues to grow and she aims to reach new places every day.
Chef Bhagyashree
Chef Bhagyashree Bhuwad, lovingly known as Bhags, completed her graduation in BSC-Statistics. She completed her Diploma in Bakery and Patisserie from Sophia College, Mumbai.
She set her first foot in the real world with Sofitel, BKC, Mumbai. Bhags then went on to work with TH Bakes, also in Mumbai, to enhance her knowledge in fondant cakes. She has worked with several reputed and top-end restaurants such as The Bombay Canteen, The Table and Magazine Street Kitchen.
Bhags and Minali shared the same ideologies and common goals which have made The Crème Company what it is today. Bhags now heads the entire central kitchen and a team of finely skilled pastry cooks and is clearly the backbone of this company & kitchen.
